Terms of service

By using seocheck, you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.

seocheck is a free, stateless web tool that fetches a URL you submit and scores its on-page SEO, GEO (generative engine optimization) readiness, and sitemap health. It has no accounts and stores no data. It is built by ogbuilds, a uk-based studio.

You must be at least 13 to use seocheck. Because there are no accounts, there are no credentials to manage — but you remain responsible for the URLs you choose to submit.

You agree not to:

• use seocheck for anything illegal, or to harm others;
• submit URLs you aren't allowed to fetch, or use seocheck to probe or attack a third party's site;
• abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service or its analysis endpoint, including automated bulk submission;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to extract the source of the service except where the law expressly allows;
• rely on seocheck's output as a guarantee — it's an automated aid based on the page as served at one moment, and you should apply your own judgement.

seocheck is free. There is no subscription, payment processor, or billing. If that ever changes, we'll update these terms and give notice before any charges apply.

ogbuilds owns the seocheck software, brand, and the service itself; nothing here transfers that to you. The pages and sites you check belong to their respective owners — seocheck simply reads their public content to produce your audit.

seocheck runs on third-party infrastructure (for example vercel) and fetches pages and files (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt) from the sites you submit. Your use of those underlying platforms and sites is subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

seocheck is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. It's an automated checker, not a guarantee — we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its scores reflect every nuance of how a search or AI engine will treat your page. Don't rely on it as your only signal for important decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ogbuilds is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or business arising from your use of seocheck. Because seocheck is provided free of charge, our total liability to you is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using seocheck at any time. We may suspend or restrict access if you breach these terms or to protect the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of england and wales, and the courts of england and wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date above, and your continued use of seocheck after an update means you accept the revised terms.
